MFGG has inspired a lot of game making, vdeiogame related material, art, drawings, music, photoshop art, pixel art, graphic art, videos, discussion, mini games..... MINI GAMES!!!!

So as we enter 2026, the 25th anniversary, YES A FULL 25 YEARS OF CONTENT.... 25 years of content.... does that seem right? A whole 25 years of content!!! The website has a lot of games, sprites, and other stuff, that is very evident.

However, 25 years of content!!!! There is surely a of LOST MEDIA, LOST GAMES, LOST PICTURES, LOST MEMORIES, LOST GRAPHICS, LOST LOST LOST LOST
[Image: Lost-Logo.jpg]

DO YOU HAVE ARCHIVES OF ANYTHING???? DID YOU ARCHIVE ANYTHING???? 25 YEARS!!!! SO MUCH LOST ART!!!!

So please, post anything that you believe needs to be preserved, and we will go on from there. This could be anything that wasn't necessarily saved to the main website, but is a MUST for yourself placed in the MFGG community, or the history of MFGG itself.

YOU ARE MFGG!!!! I will post various videos, art, etc. That I find myself. But trust me, you are the community. Only you can preserve MFGG!!!!!! 25 years, surely none of use the same computer. Smile Please help me with topic, idea, so that we can preserve MFGG 2026, 25 Years to Completion, EVERYTHING MFGG DESERVES!! Art, written memories, photographs (not sure if you should post photos of other members or not lol), drawings, sprites, memories, content you remember that is maybe from youtube or other websites, other member's content, an essay your wrote in a topic......... AND ULTIMATELY.... GAMES!!!!

Assuming that the forums, since its beginnings, has Competitions, Drawing, Sprites... **MINI-GAMES**** ..... Many of the mini-games are not on the main website. Or are they? Well I know some of them are not on the main website, would you mind reposting them if you can? Maybe other games you were making, representiting MFGG or its members , share that as well!!!!! Fan art!! Friendly art!!!!! Member art!!!!!

Basically anything you want to believe that preserves to MFGG through out all its history and existence, maybe like a TIME CAPSULE or REPRESENTATIVE OF A TIME CAPSULE, that we have of MFGG's 25th anniversary. Once we gather content, maybe we can get new ideas on what to do from there, or gather more inspiration.  Otherwise, this is just an MFGG Lost Media Thread for now. Happy 25!!!

I have some joke games that I downloaded from the website on April Fools that might not be archived. I can take a look later on and upload the files that aren't available somewhere else.

Oh yes... MFGG 25 is coming very soon! We definitely ought to do something big for that.

I am the self-crowned King of Lost MFGG Content (at least for the post-IPB era), so if you're looking for something specific, I might just have it. Remind me to dig up some random goodies from my archive as our 25th draws closer.

I remember playing your fangames back then, I had fun mainly with Marioy 2, Aventura de Luigi and Mario's Steroid Adventure on my old computer.

Speaking of lost content, do you still have the Toad's Idiotic Adventure fangame? I was looking in the wiki and I couldn't find the download link.

Funny, I remember having made a forum about the same thing at the end of 2025, but no matter how much I look, it doesn't show up...
What a coincidence, a lost forum about lost things lost
new in the web, but not in the Mario fan´s universe

Ah, I found it! The forum I was talking about is called FORGOTTEN MFGG! I saw it while browsing the forums to see if there was anything new, but my statement is correct, it has existed since before, since the end of 2025, so I now have proof that it does exist!

-Hoard of pictures-
Oh hey, I recognize that one guy. Also a number of other members on here, most not on here anymore, if any.

I've only got a handful of my older songs (originals and remixes) that aren't available anywhere else on the internet. Oh, also, using the web archive, my old Mario Spy website has been preserved, and the flash files even still work.
https://web.archive.org/web/200601031709.../MarioSpy/

Found a number of things on my old website - TD's Bowser Tech booth for NCFC, NCFC transcripts of the sound usage, spriting, level design, Lua and music workshops from 2007. Unfortunately, as much as some things got preserved, a lot didn't get captured until 2012 or after, after the website was already gone. I can see in the indexed list of the website, they captured other URLs, but no loading them. I can see a total of 45 songs that are lost (I believe 4 or 5 of them are in the handful I mentioned above), a few NCFC items and a whackload of MFGG image shenanigans (gifs and pngs and the sort).

I would recommend people use the web archive to look into their old websites and such. If any one has any ideas about being able to restore that content, please let me know. It just seems perplexing to me that the full URLs are captured, but only 25% of those URLs are actually viewable.

By the way, the IPB archive still exists. I've had to keep it offline lately because the AI crawlers are madly in love with the IPB archive and will probably send 30,000 bots the instant the site opens up - and thus crash everything on the MFGG server.

I'd be happy to open it up temporarily if anyone wants to explore. I don't think I can reopen the IPB archive until we set up Cloudflare though.

last time i was there I remember seeing people logged in and it was me and like dozens of crawlers, its insane. id wait tbh just so it stays stable when its reopened.

Hay You Guys *Sloth voice*

@Louis Paul I would love to see the joke games that you might have archived somewhere.

@Littlink Love the photos. I definitely remember the Mario licking Luigi pic, does anybody know who actually made that? I also remember the animation under it, was that someone's avatar or something? Yours? This is all so good examples of character creation we all used to take seriously.

@luckygames I did see your topic. I didn't *think* about your topic until I posted mine, which, I apologize for, this has been like on my *mind* to make this specific topic since I joined the boards. However, I will say that your topic, very well written, is more content-wise of Main site stuff, like games, sprites, demos, etc. Mine is more about the MFGG community, separate from the main site itself.

@DJ Yoshiman Feel free to post your music and website archives, this would be the time to do it! Smile Also I somewhat remember that Mario Spy website, who made it?

@VinnyVideo Vinny! I would love to check out the archives of the IPB, if someone wants it open now, feel free to ask him, I don't have the time at this very *moment* to go through it, so I am going to wait a little bit until I ask Smile

I think, and I could be wrong, but Robbydude? The animation underneath was made by Fupoo for Press Start.

1. Holy hell, any chance you could send those 3 mp3s to me or upload them somewhere? My mind just got sent reeling back on the 2 songs, the Mario Stuck Luigi in a Pipe might be one of the ones I did save.

2. Dear lord, I forgot about that Wayne Brady comic, and the time I spent having him as my avatar picture.

Here is a group photo I found on DeviantArt a couple months ago. I don't remember who made it, so give credit if known. I don't think I am in this one, but it is a pretty epic photo!

@NowhereMan A cool find! I remember when people used to make "if this topic reaches x posts" topics pretty often. It was rare for them to reach whatever extravagant target they set though!

This game is not very good.

At least this game has a original story and more effort compared to Super Mario: Hard Game.

I checked the folders here, the joke games from 2018 are already archived on the website (The MFGG April Fools 2018 Pack). Some joke games from 2019 are archived (like here and here), some others I couldn't find on the website.

One example is the Sonic version of The Purple Coin. I tried to upload the game here, but the maximum size per file is 1 MB. Does anyone have any suggestion of recommended file sharing websites?
