Brainstorming for Games

Hey I was just wondering if you dudes brainstorm when creating games? I find them to be a really useful tool to jot down everything you can think of to add to your game's levels and assets. I love brainstorming when writing my design documents. Have any tips on how to brainstorm? Have any ideas of howto brainstorm more efficiently? Anyway, I'm off to writing in my design document,

I brainstorm on notation paper with an actual pencil (or sometimes pen). I find real paper much more conducive for writing down and organizing random ideas than a rich text editor, because you have to format rich text whenever you want to use only a particular corner of the paper.

Yeah I recently got into the kick of using design documents and I have to agree: paper is the way to go.
