Hey so I have a quick question out of curiosity. How much time and effort is put into the different competitions depending on what they are?

For me, drawing compeditions are the least time consuming competition, sprites next and minigame competitions take the most time. Is this the same for all of you people?

I'd put Sprite and Drawing Competitions on approximately the same level of complexity. Music Comps are in the middle, while Minigame Comps are usually the most complex and time-consuming.

It would depend on how all-out you go. If you make a really ambitious drawing or sprite, it could take more time than making a very simple minigame. But then that also depends on skill level. If you're good at art but bad at coding, it'll take longer to make a game since you'd have to learn a lot along the way.

I barely submit to competitions so I couldn't really say how long I personally would devote to each of these. Hopefully over this summer I can submit to more competitions.

I can't not go full power on minigame or super comps
