How many Mario games have you played?

Counting spinoffs and remakes I've played about 45 that I can remember off the top of my head.

If I were to count fangames and basically any game of some sort related to Mario then it would be close to about 50 I think

83 give or take. I'm a bit fuzzy on which Mario Party titles I've played, but I think it's in the 80s.

It also depends on if we are counting more direct spin offs, like Wario and DK. For the sake of fairness, I only counted side series that still had Mario in them, so only the first Wario Land for example.

I've ever only played 3 spin-offs, one Wario one and 2 DK ones, pretty sure one being Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze

Any kind of spin-offs counts, as long as they were mentioned in the original Mario Universe

Dang, everyone's got high numbers. I still know alot more mario games than I've played. I probably know about every mario game (not including spin-offs and fangames this time) including bootlegs like Grand Dad and that poor mario maker rip-off Box Maker (i have Box Maker)

SMB1, SMB2, SMB2J, SMB3, SMW, SMAS, YI, SM64DS, NSMB, SMG, SPM, NSMBU, SM3DW
(SMB1 and SMB2J both within SMBDX on GBC)
(NSMBU and SM3DW very briefly on a friend's Wii U)
(only ever finished SMB1, SMB2J and NSMB lmao)

I guess I'm closer to 60, as I forgot about some of the more obscure games I've played like Hotel Mario, Super Princess Peach, Super Mario Land, and some others. I'm sure I'm still forgetting some but I've played so many it's hard to keep track of them all, especially the spinoffs. I wouldn't be able to tell you if we counted fan games as well because I played so many of those since I was around 7 years old which I do not remember very well.

I've heard about Hotel Mario being one of the worst games, so I guess you shouldn't play it.

When the Wii U was the newest hit, I briefly played an MK8 round at my friend's house. Then I got a Wii U so I could actually play MK8 by myself

I haven't got the switch yet, how is it?

Yeah hotel Mario is pretty bad. Aside from the funny cutscenes, which is why I played it in the first place, it's a bore.
I have a switch but I only have Zelda and Mario odyssey for it. I know there are a lot of good games on the switch but I just haven't had the time to play games in a long time so I haven't bothered buying any new games. If you like Smash Bros there's a new one coming to the switch that will be shown at E3.
