Minigame Competition # 10: Minigame Adaptation

I had a tough time deciding on the next theme, but here we are.

For this competition, the goal is to make a minigame adaptation of a scene from a Mario cartoon/comic book/movie. Please specify which scene your game is based upon. The deadline is Tuesday, August 7th.

This is a great idea. I'd absolutely love to see more fangames that draw inspiration from old-school Mario licensed products - especially the ones from the 80's and early 90's, before Mario's brand became a little more standardized.

Sadly. I hate to see this happen, but if nobody submits an entry and you give an extension, we'll have to conclude the competition without a winner. This theme had great potential, but a lot of recent Minigame Comps have been pretty sleepy. Let's discuss ways we can make Minigame Comps more active (though that should probably be a Suggestions topic).
