I speculate a lot of people seemed to have migrated over to the Discord server... but I'm not sure if that's entirely true.

Might exist. Might not. Who am I, to question the nature of such things?

Yes, Sonic Retro is still a thing, not sure why you'd ask that though.

Before we answer the question of whether or not this forum is a thing, we have to define the word "thing."
What is a thing? If a thing shall be defined as "an inanimate material object as distinct from a living sentient being," then is this forum material or inanimate? After all, the forum does change because it is a proxy for conversation. But the definition is quite colourful and other questions and broadened definitions pop up as a result. What is a "being"? How is something "living"? Are we "things"? Sometimes a thing does not have to be a non-living object. Some words can't be defined, simple ones such as "door," "sleep," "time," "earth," etc. Which these words are basic parts of a person's vocabulary for most cultures that exist within the world. But specifying "things" as categories is a meaningless task in the long run, because everything known to man, is definitely a thing without a doubt. For even a single man is compromised of several things. In conclusion, the debate on whether or not the forum is a thing is meaningless. No doubt this forum is a thing. Even dead forums are still things too. P.S. Sorry for being too intellectual in the Cosmic Trash Nebula. |
