That said, it's kind of refreshing for me to actually be working on something new and original after having been dedicating myself to a Mario fangame for many years. But yeah, I do apologize as I know many people were looking forward to it. Trust me, I would have loved to have seen it completed.Apparently this was posted on Talkhaus by @chaoxys.
How much work was left when Guinea disappeared? If it's not a lot I'd be willing to help to finish the game. I know this raises a few moral questions, but if Guinea suddenly started ghosting you then I suppose he doesn't really care much about the game at this point.
I just really don't want to see this game get cancelled, I just want to see at least 1 great big scale fangame finished.
The main things left were setting up the final world maps, a handful of enemies, and cleaning up things here and there. The largest part that needs to be finished is the bosses. Their sheets are fully made and their battles planned out, but they aren't programmed in. If anyone wanted to finish it off, I'd be willing to help out in my free time, as I've said, the battle plans for bosses are finished, and theres only a few levels left to finish (mainly due to key elements like enemies missing from the engine currently).
