I'm personally against this since you'll start getting holes in the conversation if people start deleting posts.
(Though to be honest, this can happen when you edit away a post's content anyways)

Personally I think it's fine if Saltman deletes his posts.

Sorry, but staff doesn't even permanently delete posts and even a soft delete option for members could be abused.
