This thread fails to have a Koopa-inhabited fortress at the end of it.

I tried it with both BBCode and HTML, and it seems that MyBB is like phpBB (and unlike IPB) in that the word filter won't parse images.

While we're at it, I wonder how MyBB will handle massive table-breaking images:

Will the new forum have a filter? It kind of goes against my nature but is it worth it given that most people seem to be against the filter nowadays?

Seems the images display properly in Chrome and Edge, but in Firefox it just says [Image: longForgettableURL.jpg]. Not sure why that is.

I'm planning to filter the most common swear words. It'll probably be possible to disable the filter, but it'll definitely be enabled by default.
