I think it's a handy feature that I use whenever I can. What about you?

I'm not sure I know what you're talking about. I haven't used ebay in a few years but if I remember right when bidding normally your bid is a maximum bid and you'll pay under that as long as nobody bids close to it.

It's cool, but when I first used ebay I didn't really *get* it and just treated it like my 'maximum bid' was my normal bid and staked out auctions I wanted to win and kept bidding higher anyway. It's nice to not have to do that, but you definitely miss out on things if you're not honest about what your real maximum bid is.

I very rarely use e-bay, and when I do, it's not usually an auction. For auctions I have bidded on, I have not used the auto-bid feature.

It's been a long time since I've used ebay. I used to use it to get older figures I couldn't find in stores though, and I think I do recall using an auto bid at one point but my mind could just be making that up. If the feature did exist when I was using ebay my parents probably used it so they wouldn't have to sit at the computer and wait for the auction to end just to ensure that I get my toy.

I think I used it once.

Haven't done much eBay in a while, but it was my primary means for buying used games.
