Howdy boys and gals. Remember ME!? The weird, quiet little guy who did some sprites (and occasionally worked on that one Wario fangame).

I've been planning on coming back for a while, but once Mors returned, I thought I should go ahead since it'd be kinda like ye olde times in a way.

As for this thread, I mostly want to post some of my wip in progress stuff here.
I'm still doing a LOT of commission work that I can't show here as well, so updates are probably gonna be super slow(as usual).

Also, in case you were wondering what I was making while I was gone, here's some character sprites I made (mostly) last year.
If you've seen my Twitter, you'll probably recognize some of these!

I was planning on making Mario-inspired Decidueye and Popplio spritesheets instead of Lurantis, but it was ultimately more fun to make Lurantis instead.


Full body Galeem I did because I have a weird habit of giving full bodies to character that aren't suppose to have them.

By the end of 2018, I feel like my artwork is starting to get more consistent. I hope I get there soon!

Now here's a Mario-inspired Lurantis spritesheet I'm working on. I've only finished a few animations so far.
It's more challenging than I expected, too.

I finally decided to come out of hiding and post arty things here again!

Long story short, I decided to scale things down and work on a Sobble sprite sheet now.
I have a distinct lack of finished things recently, so I'm hopin' Sobbio can fix that.



I'm trying to give Sobbio all the basic moves from most Mario platformers, and some of it's own abilities as well.
Being a Pokemon I'm trying to translate into a Mario character, I feel like there's a very fun analogy to be said here, but sadly, I have no idea what it is

I've also been trying to do character designs again. Be it original, fan characters, or straight up redesigns of existing ones.

Nothing super experimental, but I just wanted to mess around and see if I could properly realize some ideas I've had(and practice making pixel art in general). You've probably seen the Chain Chomp character before, if you follow my Twitter.

There's only 2 here so far because these are really hard to make! But I want to do these somewhat regularly and improve at it.
