REJECTED Competition to design new rank icons.

As i've said before, I'm sick of the color splash rank icons.
So let's have a comp to design the moderator, member, founder, administrator, site staff, banned, and event leader.

However... since I'm hosting the comp you must all design me a new rank! It's bogus though...

Does someone have to repeat this again? Only the Staff and winners of previous comps are allowed to make comps. You haven't won a comp, and you aren't a staff member, which means you can't just go around making fake comps which aren't staff approved.

Yes, I am aware that I have about 6 or so fangame projects currently in development at the same time. And yes, I am also aware that all of this is very ambitious.

You posted this in suggestions so I can't tell if you are suggesting that we host a competition to redesign the rank icons or if you are trying to host your own. If the former then I'm on board with designing new icons, but it probably isn't a top priority at the moment. If the latter then realize that unofficial competitions, while not against the rules, do not award badges and do not guarantee that the winning designs will become the new rank icons.

If you realize this and are just hosting it for fun to see what people come up with then there's no issue at all other than it not belonging in suggestions.

Basically, what @Evil Yoshi Toes said. Anyone can start an unofficial competition, although we probably won't award badges to the winner of an unofficial event.

The existing rank icons aren't perfect, but changing them isn't a high priority right now.
