Finally finished my game jam game. More or less. No, not the most recent game jam, the one before. Yeah, from six months ago.
Get LANDBORNE here!
(Or on Itch, but I'm trying to support local businesses.)
"Some mysterious villain with no respect for wildlife has stolen all the water from the Mushroom Kingdom's oceans. How? Why? And will they suffer the due penalty for their crimes? One Cheep-Cheep with a lot of momentum and an inexplicable ability to thrust themself downwards by pressing the spacebar is intent on finding out! Will they rebound off of enough goombas and other bouncy things to careen their way to the truth? Or will they eventually condemn themself to an unbreathing eternity flailing about on a patch of dirt? Good question. It really depends on how you choose to interpret the 'lives' mechanic common to many video games. A quantum, 'many-worlds' take might say that both of those outcomes are true. But only you can decide! Buy today!"
It hasn't taken this long because I've been working particularly hard on it, I'm just a very, uh, diverse artist. Hope you like it, though!
