Proud to announce that NCFC is back once again this year! It will be taking place between October 30th and November 5th.
For those who don't know, NCFC is an online convention for game developers to showcase their projects, with a focus on fangames.
Starting this year NCFC will be co-ran by MFGG as an official MFGG event. We have been sponsoring the event ever since it began in 2007, but from this point onwards we will be having more direct involvement with it. Expect things to be a bit different this time around!
As for booth submissions, they all start now and will be handled through the official site just like previous years.

Submission Guidelines
- All game entries must be submitted by October 29th 2021, 11:59 PM PST.
- You have to create an account on nintendocfc.com to submit your booth. If you have an account from past years it should work as well.
- You don't have to use the built-in booth designer and can upload your game elsewhere.
- If you use MFGG to host your game and submit your game build after October 25th, your game will be accepted right when the event starts (if it follows the regular MFGG submission rules also). Just make sure to state that your game build is intended for NCFC in the title of your MFGG submission (ex. "Luigi Drinks A Glass of Milk 6 - NCFC 2021 Demo").
- Booths can be updated after registration, and even during the event and the final day.
- Your game has to have a playable build of any kind. It could be the finished build of a game, a demo, or even an engine test.
- ROM hacks and mods are allowed.
- Multiple booth submissions are allowed.
- You can submit your MFGG Fangame Jam 3 entry also. In fact, you're heavily encouraged to do so!
- Games that contain inappropriate content, such as pornography, fetish art, and anything of sexually-explicit nature. Games that contain gore should contain a warning on their booth pages.
- Games that contain any kind of malware.
- Games that are packaged as installers.
- Levels packs, such as those for "Super Mario Bros. X" or similar games.
- Engine clones. If your game is an edit of an existing premade fangame engine that you didn't make and does not do anything substantial to change the engine's features/presentation/etc., we will not accept it.
- Fangames that accept donations of any kind towards their project, including a Patreon or anything related. This does not apply to indie titles.
- Remakes of official Nintendo titles.
- ROM Hacks that come with pre-patched ROM files.
- Booths that link to sites that force people to sign up for an account or pay money to download the game.
- Finished games that last got updated more than 2 years ago.
