In The Topic of Dating Simulators

Hey everybody, hows it going? I am currently studying game genres, one being Dating Sims for the possibility of creating one myself. For example, while I have not played many, myself, I do remember some of the old Newgrounds games and playing some on there a long, long time ago, a place of interest I may have to revisit. However, the one I remember in particular I may never find again. Or maybe you have Novelization games similar to this that you would like to share? I generally just need examples, your favorites, etc. This could be online, or console, I remember the Nintendo DS had a lot of visual novel type games. Also, I am certain, that some or many of these games may have adult themes , so maybe PM me if you don't think it belongs on the board itself. Any information is so useful and helpful. Thanks.

I've never actually played a dating simulator before, though I did make a few songs for a dating sim that a friend was working on years ago. Said game probably won't see the light of day, but you never know!

Part of me thinks it would be funny if I tried to make one just because it's so radically different from any other game genre I've attempted before.
