Hello everyone, Turret 3471 here, and welcome to the brand new Music Competition! (welcome to the new forums as well!) Bear with me though, I'm pretty new to this sort of stuff, so I'll try to explain everything as best I can. If you have any questions about the competition, feel free to ask. 
For our new competition, our theme will be boss battles. It can be a basic composition used for any kind of boss like in SMB3 or the NSMB series, or a special song used for a certain character or group of characters like in the Super Mario 3D series. Keep in mind this does not include "Final Boss" themes, as those tend to be very different. This is for basic boss themes in general.

Rules are simple as always. You can make a remix or original composition, and you can use any style you like, as long as it both fits the boss battle theme and stays within the Mario style. And since you have to make the music yourself, you CANNOT use any official songs from Nintendo. Making remixes of songs from other Mario games are fine, but you can't use any official music. You are also allowed a maximum of one entry, however if you send in your entry and later on feel like it needs some updates, it's fine to send your updated mix.
Alright, quick overview of the rules just in case, as well as some small addons that should just be mentioned here:
Also, once the deadline arrives, we'll showcase every entry sent, then you guys will get to vote for 5 of your favorites. More details will be explained once that time comes up.

- Create a remix or original composition of a boss battle theme, making sure the style you use would fit with the Mario series
- Final boss themes are not included in this competition category
- Make sure your song lasts at least 30 seconds or longer, but don't make it last too long
- Official Nintendo music is NOT ALLOWED
- Only send one entry, but feel free to send any updates you decide to make to the track
