It's pretty fashionable to hate on games like Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Forces. While I can understand where that hatred comes from and can see the flaws people are talking about, I still get a lot of fun out of these games. Meanwhile, as an example in contrast, I find Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric are both too broken to enjoy.

-I think Shadow the Hedgehog is actually worse than Sonic 2006
-I don't think Yoshi's Island is amazing (but I still like it)
-I think Mega Man and Bass is actually a pretty good game

• I love Super Metroid, but I think Fusion is better than it. It may be more linear, which definitely sets it apart from Super, but it has much better atmosphere, I feel.
• Every time a console does a slimmer/smaller model, I always find myself preferring the clunkier original model, generally.
• F-Zero X is a million times better than F-Zero GX, gameplay wise. It may not be as pretty, but I can actually win in X more often than not.

There's probably way more than that, but those are the ones off the top of my head.

I do not like Animal Crossing at all and personally speaking I feel like it's a waste in Nintendo Directs. I tune out of nintendo videos any time a new Animal Crossing is shown or a previous/recent Animal Crossing game is brought up and talked about

Mainstream Pokemon games are incredibly dull and virtually re-works/updates to previous Pokemon entries to look better and have new pokemon and a different story

Metroid is ok but I personally don't care for it much

Mario Kart Double Dash is unique and it was interesting for its time but it's probably my least favorite Mario Kart game in the series and I don't understand why so many people love it so much

Fire Emblem games are okay, but overrated

My favourite 8-bit Mario platformer is Super Mario Land 2.

The only problem I have with SML2 is that it's really floaty - it's a marginal improvement over SML's physics, but it's still rather clunky feeling to jump around and turn in the air and other fun things like that. Other than that, I think it's one of the most underrated Mario platformers ever released.

Sonic's been overrated since even the Genesis days. I'll admit I was drawn to the series with Sonic Adventure 2 and how raditudinally cooltastic Sonic and his pals were but looking back, the number of games he's had that I think are actually fun and am willing to revisit every once in a while can probably be counted on one hand.

Falcon Punch is the result of the Sun heating fists. It drives the Blue Falcon. Heating causes destruction of water into the pain, where it then hurts, creating rain. Rain creates flowing water in tears, which can then be converted into other forms through more pain.
