I don't think it's a good point because it's not a good reason to keep someone banned.

Yeah that's kinda like wrongfully convicting someone of murder and then saying "eh prison's not that bad anyway"

Anyways, I've done all I can to try and prevent these things from happening in the future to someone else. If he gets unbanned cool, if not oh well. I just have no energy left to give this place.
Have a happy new year. Bye. I want to leave before I become that guy that annoys everyone.

As I mentioned this at the MFGG Discord chat. I have this on my mind throughout the week and I'm on board of unbanning Stir if I am a moderator. However it is not easy to get a good time for all of the staffs online and have a discussion about this. In addition there's not a lot of staffs to cover this. I will however bring this up to all of the staffs tomorrow and get this sorted.

nah you're right it's not a good reason to keep him banned
I'm on the MarioBoards, Minus World, and the Bell Tree Forums as rollerC if you wanna check me out.

do you even need a discussion about it if he shouldnt have been banned in the first place
i understand if there arent enough staff to press the unban button now since everyone quit lmao
I mean at this point unbanning him isn't enough, we deserve a big public apology and a commitment to doing better.
I thought you guys WeReNt ThE gOvErNmEnT, what's with all the red tape? Or are you the government now that the guy who said that quit? Can't keep up with all this.

Who is "we", all of MFGG? As crazy as it sounds to you, maybe some members do support the ban? Drei was on very thin ice with staff anyway so it's not like the ban came out of nowhere. And yeah guys you could make epic funny shitposts about it but that's not really gonna get anyone unbanned.

Yes, all of MFGG. I have made my position clear before that bans affect the whole community and abuse of power like this should be made an example out of.

Is this really an abuse of power though? Under the circumstances I understand the ban completely, and right now with the holidays and plenty of staff resignations as well as other behind the scenes drama, there's simply both a lack of time and people that are invested into Drei's ban at the moment. I also completely understand getting banned for something you didn't do blows but these things, they take time.

An improper ban is wrong. Keeping a ban around the staff knows is wrong is absolutely an abuse of power, with every moment that ban goes longer making it worse.
Yes they are busy, but it's very easy to unban someone and apologize. They're the ones who make it needlessly difficult.

We'll talk about it. I wasn't closely involved in the initial decision - if I had been, I wouldn't have agreed to a "permanent" ban, since nothing is permanent on the Internet. However, since Drei was banned for an accumulation of offenses, I can't guarantee you that we'll be ready to bring him back right away. As for his Discord ban, we'd be more likely to let him off early if we launch a Discord reboot (a discussion that's currently ongoing).
The Suggestions forum really isn't the place for appealing other people's bans. If Drei wants to come back, he can make his case to the staff and convince us that he's ready to be a positive contributor to MFGG. Course clear! You got a card.
