Here's a cool find that happened recently.
When Sim City got really big, businesses were interested in having Maxis program sim games for business and training purposes.
One of these games that was made was SimRefinery, an oil refinery simulator created by Maxis and Chevron, an oil company. This game is known to have existed, but was unable to be played by anyone outside the company.

SM put out a giant article about this business side of Maxis, which was shared on other websites. One of them, Ars Technica, had a user comment saying they knew someone who had the game, and now it's online for everyone to see!
It's an amazing story about something that was thought to never be seen by the public being found.
The game itself is pretty frameworky and beta, and not a lot of things work, presumably to be implimented in future versions.
Additonally, it will look incomprehensible to anyone who doesn't already work in oil refinery. I'm a chemistry lover, but even I was confused. I do know that when it says C3, C4, or Cwhatever number, it's talking about carbon chains, things like butane. Butane is a four chain of CH4 with four carbons.
You can check it out for yourself too!
