Questions about MechaBowser

Are we absolutely, positively, and 100% sure, that MFGG member MechaBowser became a member of it's team, or even director, of the indie game A Hat In Time?

Now, the game was made by developers in Denmark, and MechaBowser is stated to be a member from Denmark. MechaBowser was a member of the staff at one point, and seems to have a pretty good track record..

..but then again, he also seems to be confused with another member, Mecha the Slag, as discussed here.

He has edited his member page a few times to remove the line about A Hat In Time, only for it to then be put back, so what gives? Is he a Hat In Time guy or what?

Yeah, that's the only activity he's had on MFGG in years. It screams I MADE A HAT IN TIME BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH MY PREVIOUS poopy BEHAVIOR.

Mecha The Slag and MechaBowser are the same person. This is not a case of mistaken identity, this is not a rumor, this is literal 100% fact even down to their faces and name being the exact same.

Now, I know you were not around back then, but over a decade ago now, several members that are still around to this day were present when MechaBowser CHANGED HIS USERNAME to Mecha The Slag in the first place.

His name and face weren't even a secret back then either and were publicly known for several reasons but mostly due to the (probably fake) "game engine" he was working on called MechaSource, which displayed that information on its website.

Yes, we are sure they're the same guy. It's because they literally are.
