Felt the itch to make some sprites

For whatever reason, I was thinking about the costume forms from the first Super Mario Maker. I've been feeling the urge to make some sprites as of late, so I thought of remaking one of the costumes. My goal is to remake all of Wii Fit's poses along with a few other characters.

Remaking Super Mario Maker costumes? Hey, that's a great idea! What you have there looks good; pretty supah! What other characters do you plan on remaking, if you don't mind telling?

I haven't had TOO much time to update, but I may as well post my progress. The turning sprite is giving me some grief (not pictured) and I've yet to work on swimming/flagpole sprites. I'm feeling out other poses/animations (such as a proper walk cycle) on top of her in-game poses. Perhaps the dancer pose couple be used exclusively for running. I'd like to make even more sprites for her based other yoga poses (spent some of my free time researching, so I had some good ideas). I wouldn't call anything "finalized" yet BTW.
Also, to answer your question, Q-Nova: I've been trying to outline the general looks for DK and Inkling Squid (seems easy enough). I also want to do Fox, Falco, Yamamura, Mary O, and Excitebike sometime later if I feel up to it.

Looking good! I can tell you're good at this stuff! I didn't know the Wii Fit Trainer could "walk" with the dancer pose! I actually had to look at the original sprites on The Spriter's Resource to see if that was actually true! Laughing

Including more yoga poses is a great idea!

Another update!

Swimming sprites (I made a more SMW-esque animation instead the one from SMM)
A Flagpole sprite (There's 2 sprites in the rips, but there is only 1 frame of animation)
Alternate Front/Back facing sprites
A more typical climbing sprite
A turning sprite that will most likely be refined
Inkling Squid design revisions and a more outlined DK

Next: Cleaning up the Swimming sprites and improving placement of ponytails.

I like WFT's poses. They don't look easy to recreate.
