Hello MFGG! It's been FOREVER!

How has everyone been? I'm sure at this point there's a brand new cast of people who frequent this forum, but none the less I couldn't help but stop by. I use to be active on these boards back when I was in middle school all the way up to my high school days (probably like 2000ish - 2008ish?) Back then I definitely met a lot of people, made some awesome friends, and was able to find a lot of inspiration in being creative whether through drawing, writing, and/or game making. I've since haven't done much of that with "adulting" happening and all.

Around the beginning of the pandemic I got more into the hobbies I stopped but ESPECIALLY drawing and game making. Fast forward to now and I'm still early in my learning stages of programming for the sake of game development. I'm currently on vacation and while I sat at my PC just messing around with software I'm trying to learn, I randomly thought about the last time I really dabbled in software like this. It made me think of MFGG so I just had to check up on this place!

No big reason to make this post other than to say hello to everyone here, wish you all a great day, and just lurk around!

Oh and of course use the very famous Soveryhappy

Welcome back to MFGG! These days a lot of the userbase uses the Discord server more than the forums, but we still have folks posting now and then! It's always nice to see folks return from years ago, even when relatively newer members -- like myself from 2015 -- meet them for the first time.

And yeah, the Pandemic Era actually helped me get back into the habit of making games and stuff. When you're ready, maybe you can post some of the cool things you've been making!
