Nintendo Music App

So Yesterday Nintendo made an app for streaming their music. I tried it out, and while the selection is on the small side, the app itself functions fine. I don't like the fact that I can't disable autoplay, though. Has anyone else here tried it? I'll probably be sticking to my slightly buggy third-party YouTube player for now, but it's nice to have an alternative if the game is covered by the app.

This is cool to see - I'm honestly surprised it took Nintendo so long to make a music app, considering the size and quality of their music libraries.

I don't have a Switch, so I haven't played it yet. I might check it out if I ever get a Switch, though.

I have it installed. It just came out not long ago, but there's not very much on it. That said, access comes free with Nintendo Switch online memberships, which is nice.

I would have preferred Nintendo to release their music on Spotify and such, but the app being part of a Nintendo online pass does make it easier to swallow. Not only do I have online play and some retro games on Switch, but they have music too and I don't have to pay more for it.

They tend to gate keep their content. Mobile was large enough for them to make them put Pokemon and Mario, but they haven't dabbled like that since their early PC games.
