About a week ago, I uploaded Mario 3 World to mfgg.net. For a week, it has been saying it is being queued. I have not received a response, or anything regarding the game. How long is it going to take?
It varies. When your submission is in the queue for what seems like a lengthy period, it's usually because the staff is having trouble coming to a consensus on it. This tends to happen with borderline quality games and games with special circumstances (such as joke games).
However, personally, my computer is broken and I'm borrowing my sister's while I figure out a solution. This has had a few effects on my ability to do things like QC, unfortunately.
Basically, what Dustin said. In order for a submission to be accepted on the MFGG mainsite, at least two staff members have to play it and vote to approve it. If the two staff members disagree on whether to accept it, a third staff member has to vote to break the tie. So that can take a few days.
I played your game earlier today. I'll post a comment in your forum topic, but part of the holdup is because it's a borderline-quality submission - it's playable, but there's some question about whether it meets the submission guideline.
