The website takes a strangely long time to load, and sometimes my web browser says the page isn't available. I know it's not my wifi or my web browser, either. (I tested another browser, it has the same problems, and another site works just fine)

Because the rolling mario badge makes the server to go slow. It's my theory

I'm not sure what the issue is, but everything on the MFGG server seems to be slower than usual.
I'm quite confident that the problem isn't an animated GIF, though. Course clear! You got a card.

I've also been having this issue with the MFGG forums and main site, but not other sites, lately, which is kinda annoying, especially when the page just doesn't load. I don't know what's been causing this issue, but I hope it'll be fixed soon. I don't think the rolling Mario badge has anything to do with the problem, as it's just a small .png file (speaking of badges, the leek badge doesn't seem to be displaying anymore).

I did some quick tests. Somehow the contents from MFGG are bouncing around more than average amount of servers in order to load. I haven’t fully tested it yet but it’s either a server end issue that needed a reboot or a mid-server bounce issue.

Im glad I'm not the only one. Hope it can get fixed soon!

Know anyone with an axe to grind?
Seems to have been a DDoS attempt. Fixed for now but if someone is motivated it might come back.

The best way to prevent this to happen in the future is implementing a CDN. However like other staffs mentioned, it is better off to finish repairing, porting, and making all of the themes and known forum bugs first before we implement CDN.
