RE: Spider Thread - Evil Yoshi Toes - 10-31-2019 @VinnyVideo When I was a little kid my aunt lived in Gainesville. I'd visit her house and run about the forested areas out back... and I'd run into a lot of banana spiders! There are a lot of them around my neighborhood too, up in the trees over the sidewalk. Creepy! but fun to observe from a distance. There's something eerie yet whimsical about the skull-like pattern on their heads. Seeing it peek through the leaves and webbing makes for some wonderful and almost fantastical imagery. RE: Spider Thread - GeneralGuy - 10-31-2019 I love spiders RE: Spider Thread - Daisy - 11-01-2019 My favourite is very dangerous. It's called Atrax robustus or if you want the common name, Sydney funnel web spider. RE: Spider Thread - The Dark Warrior - 11-02-2019 As long as they remain in the wild, we are good. RE: Spider Thread - Damarioman - 11-03-2019 I appreciate and respect what spiders do. Many spiders are fascinating to watch or have interesting behaviours. That being said, I'd rather they didn't crawl on me. My general opinion on spiders is that if they don't bother me, I don't bother them, and when it comes to finding unwanted spiders, a catch-and-release policy is better than killing them. That's why I let spiders remain in my house. Wish the others would stop murdering them tho. Your house is their environment. I think he meant about wild spiders inside household environments, like getting one of those more harmful types inside your wardrobe or just outside your porch making a web so huge you almost tangle on it by accident Some household spiders are just adorably funny, I mean, they look chubby, and jump all around. ^-^ RE: Spider Thread - Evan.F - 01-13-2020 RE: Spider Thread - Friendly Dictator - 01-18-2020 |
