RE: What are your picks for Smash Bros. Switch? - Evil Yoshi Toes - 04-18-2018 It'd be interesting if Waluigi's moveset was based on the features seen in party and sport games. He'd be the perfect representation of Mario spinoffs since he's a spinoff-exclusive character. I don't know much about the technicalities of Smash since I don't play competitively, but those are some interesting points that I didn't even know about, @smbmaster99 I wonder, assuming this isn't a port, how much will be changed in terms of gameplay. From 64 to Melee to Brawl to Smash4 we saw changes apparent enough for a casual player to notice right off the bat. I wonder if that'll happen again or if the ideal has been found and only small tweaks will be made. I agree very much with Dr Mario, Lucina and Dark Pit being alt costumes, as well as having Mario and Luigi wear their retro costumes as an alt like I think they did in Smash 64. RE: What are your picks for Smash Bros. Switch? - CGWorks - 04-18-2018 I personally really enjoy Smash 4's gameplay the most of all the smash games we've had so far. I'm kind of half hoping that this entry will be, what I'm calling around my friends, "a better Smash 4" if that makes sense XP 4 is the most balanced smash game we've had so far, it's faster-paced than Brawl, but not as fast or tech-heavy as Melee, yet still technical enough to keep people invested. It's pretty easy for a newcomer who wants to get competitive to pick up and start practicing and getting good. I hope this new entry is like this, but with the changes I mentioned before lol |
