this depends
, the hardest game i have beaten would be action 52 (from beaten i mean, finish all 52 games, and i even gave myself challenges, such as a no death run people call me the ultimate madman for a reason 
as for actual good games,that would be megaman and bass on super nintendo, thinking of finishing the gba version later this week,
(i have no damaged all the bosses, staying with the madman rules)

Not counting any Kaizo rom hacks, probably Trap Adventure 2, also was I the only person who did not find Super Meat Boy that hard?
