New Gifs
first up is the completion of 6-2. This level takes place in a forest and features white Dino rhinos (dino torch is also there, minus the flame ability), fire bros and snow goombas. There are also ice blocks. Due to limitations only frozen coins can be melted. You may also notice the frozen enemy. That's just an oversite from Alesan99, and I can't do anything about it.

Next is the new rain effect. Now improved to be a foreground layer with transparency and combined with the cavemist background. Also this is a new level, serving as a transition from world 1 to world 2. This is the one level I'll probably be the only level to have splunkins in it.

Also, I am planning to release a fifth demo for the 1-year anniversary of the project on April 12th. so far 5-4, 8-2 and 6-2 will be included, and it might also include 1-7, 2-3, 3-4, 5-5, 7-4 and/or level from world 6, depending on if I can get them done in time.

Evan, did you use the commercially sold Super Mario Maker to make this game or did you create a hack on your own? Just wondering.

Neither, this is just a level collection (called a mappack) for a mod for the original Mari0. The mod was made in 2013, and the mods creator (Alesan99) has been working on it ever since, adding many features from other Mario games, including Mario maker.

If you want to try it out, which I highly recommend, as the level editor is, in my opinion, the best one I've ever used, dowload it here. This is also the only way to play SM16.

New level reveal coming soon, and it's a type of level we all love.

[font]New level has been finished, it's a swamp, introducing Wigglers, SMW Piranha Plants and Ghoulbas. It's also an autoscroller.

New levels
Currently unfinished level: The main reason is that there are problems with the levels gimmick. Alesan made a custom enemy for me, but due to the fact that they don't have a global timer (and I'm not sure if you can set one for transforms), the level might not be finished in time for Update 5.0.

World 7 is getting 2 new levels so far. Both of them are in the desert. This one is finished.

7-5 is completed. The ending seen here is a transition from the desert part to the beach part of world 7.

I don't like how clashing graphics are present in this game.

I know, I tried to make sure the artwork made sense together for the most part, but there is clash.

Thank you. 2-1 has a similar effect, and every level uses multiple layers of parallax in the main area. Parallax backgrounds have been one of the more important parts of this mappack.

Sounds like it would work. Will definitely be using the midi for SNES instruments. I'll also have to cut it so it loops properly.

EDIT: It will do for now as a placeholder. Might also use it later in world 3/4

Which final level would you prefer
4-6 (mountains)
8-3 (lava cave)
5-1 (clouds)

Or another idea.
