I do that with almost every game I play. I still havent completely breath of the wild even though I've been at the final boss since the month it came out.
Yes, I am aware that I have about 6 or so fangame projects currently in development at the same time. And yes, I am also aware that all of this is very ambitious.
+ List of projects I'm helping out with in some small capacity during my hiatus:

I was wrong..
That IS what this thread is about. I don't know what these other fellows are going on about

yeah youve specifically said "made" too!
...i wish ive ever gotten 75% through any of my projects
I get that feel. If you don't think you'll ever get around to finishing it, maybe you could release the unfinished project and let people put in their own endings, with credit to you ofc. I think it'd be neat to see a fangame with a bunch of different endings provided by other members!

... I have many regrets.
What did you lose?
Tamayoshi 2, Some big MFGG game (it was like a spiritual successor to Kittie Quest) and various other little, more original projects- oh, my computer too of course. All just lost... Like tears in the rain.

Lol I misread the title. I've only finished 1 fan game project in my life, and it was for the recent game jam. The only way I can finish things is with a tight deadline it would seem. All my other fan games I used to make would get to maybe 10-15% completion.
