An interesting development. It's a very big company buying most of another very big company, so as the article states, the transaction will probably face regulatory scrutiny. I doubt the regulatory pressure will cause the deal to fall through, but it probably will take a long time for the deal to be completed and approved. Then again, the Trump administration can be unpredictable, so who knows what will happen.
