Joke Game Contest 2: Gamin' on my Boy

Here's my Extremely Detailed Criticism of all of the entries:

Mario Takes a Bath
I appreciate "Character Does Mundane Thing" games to an extent, but I feel like it was a bit too barebones. You can leave the bathroom after changing clothes, so you could've done something with that (a hidden streaker ending, perhaps?). Also, while it does use GB colors and GB music, it didn't really feel all that "GB-themed".

I really have to question how much this game was tested.

First of all, whenever you get a game over and continue, your lives are set to 0. This is amateurishly bad already, but the fact that the game doesn't even save your progress and you have to start all over if you restart the game makes it completely unacceptable.

In the first level, you can die to a falling object even after you've triggered the victory cutscene. It leads to this happening:


Both Kongs float in the air, doing nothing, which would normally make for a pretty easy level. However, I forgot to press the switch and went right, which caused me to get stuck here, forcing a restart:


Level 2 worked well enough, but then I got to level 3 and everything sort of fell apart. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug, but I simply can not get past these vines/ropes:

No matter what button I press, Mario simply doesn't advance to the next rope, and because there's no other way to proceed, I'm kind of forced to conclude my playthrough here.

So yeah, unless the joke of this game was that it's barely functional, it's sadly not going to get very many points from me.

Gameboy Ware
Now this is what I'm talkin' about. Mario pissing, dancing bananas, 1-2-Oatmeal Gourmet Race, photorealistic dancing men... It's all here, and completely sensible too, since it's wrapped in a WarioWare-esque package! I do have problems with some of the minigames (I still have no idea what I need to do in the cape-flying microgame despite trying it like 6 times, level 3 of the sumo minigame doesn't even seem possible, the different foods in the eating microgame look a bit unclear etc.), but overall, it's a fun experience that I might actually go back to. Basically, this is how you do a "joke game".
