Yeah similar is being done up here. There's ice rinks that they heat up and drain and have people live in there but everyone's like cramped together and can't leave I've heard from peers who are in them. I refuse to go in one.

Unfortunately, homelessness isn't a bug in the housing market - it's a feature. Free markets require haves and have-nots for there to be supply and demand, which is fine when you're talking about Xboxes or Ferraris, but not things people need to live like housing, food, and healthcare. Housing should be de-commodified and made a human right, full-stop.
