Khimera: Puzzle Island launched last November, I made the soundtrack to it. Here it is.

Aside from that, I've made a bunch of random tracks I've released, but the frequency has been lower. Here they all are in one dump:

For last year's MFGG Jam I worked with Mors on a game called Pyoro U. It... didn't go as well. I removed the rest of the soundtrack from SoundCloud, but I can still send them via a PM or something.

Junk funk. This was a fun cover to do, it ended up sounding deliberately very 90s CD game -esque.

This was an entry to a tracker music competition during a demoscene event in Finland. It got 5th place out of 11.

Fun idea I had one day. I got to mess with guitars some more, which I definitely should practice a lot more.

The Swoop soundtrack

This was the soundtrack to a N64 game jam entry in December. Just about everything that could go wrong went wrong on the audio side: I was busy writing music for Puzzle Island, the old console meant the use of archaic sequence formats, samples couldn't be converted, technical problems plagued the recording and in the end the game shipped with streamed audio where one stereo channel failed to initialize, so the audio played in mono over your left ear. Homebrew development is kind of a pain.

A track written for Syx's in-production fangame. It was the very first time I was working with NES specs and tools, so it was kind of a pain. In the end, this rendition got replaced by a remake/cover by 40nix for the still upcoming game.

You ever just zone out and make something? This is it for me, and it definitely sounds like it. Maybe you like weird 90s ambient jungle as much as I do and enjoy this, probably not though

And that's it! A lot of time last year went to Puzzle Island and this year has ssssucked so I've wasted a lot of time writing music for projects that have gotten canned. I'd definitely like to focus on soundtracks more in the future, as keeping tabs on a bigger project and working it out over time is a much more pleasant way to make music than bouncing around doing random crap, and I think it also creates much better and more thought-out tracks than the random SoundCloud dumps.

So that's about it. Next year I might start pushing things to YouTube since SoundCloud has had enough of me and wants me to pay for posting music and frankly f*** that, so we'll see.

Will I even make a next post? Who knows. Bye!
