What-if idea: Sonic Legends inspired Mario fangame

If y'all are serious about making a collaborative project, I'd be more than happy to contribute a level or two.

Granted, at the moment I'm just throwing out ideas of a possible artstyle for this, I don't really have the time nor energy to program for this hypothetical project (i have a lot of stuff on my plate already).

That said, whoever decides to actually jumpstart this into something playable I'd be happy to provide sprites for it.
