@Q-Nova Yeah, MFGG often went bonkers on April Fool's Day!
PPP prunings started occurring in 2005. The PPP accounted for hundreds of thousands of posts in the MFGG database, and back then MFGG's server didn't have much space. Having too many PPP posts could cause the entire site (including the mainsite) to go kerput. That's why the admins of that era did regular prunings. I'm glad we have plenty of storage space nowadays, though I'm torn on whether having thousands of new posts every day would be a good thing!
