@NowhereMan The IPB forums were the most active iteration of the forums, running from 2003 to 2009. The phpBB boards became more fangame-centric, especially during Black Squirrel's tenure.
Post counts are still visible if you click on a member's profile or the list of members. At one point, post counts were much more prominent, appearing next to every post. Displaying post counts might have added an element of "gamification" that encouraged others to be more active. However, it sometimes led to "post count-ism" elitism or members making low-quality posts just to boost their post counts.
