It could be system related issues and/or a recently installed software is interfering with Edge's functionality. Try these instead:
- uninstall/reinstall recently updated/installed software
- use system restore to restore to the last point where Edge is working well
- open Windows PowerShell (Admin) and run “SFC /scannowâ€.
