This is quite a promising demo. I'm definitely looking forward to playing the full version.
As Evil Yoshi Toes mentioned, there are a few typos in E. Gadd's speech. I'd recommend getting someone to proofread your writing before you release the final version.
Also, this is one of those games that would benefit from an in-game tutorial system. There's one room early on where you face a ghost that can only be defeated using elemental attacks. The game never explains how you're supposed to beat this ghost. I ended up getting a Game Over or two before I figured out how to beat him.
Otherwise, the game's difficulty is pretty fair (aside from the lack of a save system, but we discussed that earlier).
