The Last Jedi

It completely ruined the franchise. I really hope they remake it.

Truly a cinematic failure.

I think the worst for me would have to be Avengers: Infinity War. They totally changed the character of Thanos for the worse, thus completly ruining the biggest crossover event of all time (aside from all the times it happened in the comics with way more characters). Thanos's motive is supposed to be that he wants to court Lady Death, Marvel's version of the concept of Death itself, by killing as many people as possible. It's pretty politically relevant to our times with many men out there doing heinous things due to lady frustrations. Instead we get some weird thing about how he's all emotional and really cares, he just truly believes killing half of the universe's population will fix all future problems. It makes no sense and just robs of on an opportunity for a truly realistic a**h*** of a villain.

From whatever I've seen, definitely The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure.

Oogieloves. Oogieloves. Is that even a word?

The costumes are so creepy and it looks like a very terrible Teletubbies ripoff. (Other than Wal-Mart with their toys, who would ripoff the Teletubbies of all things?)

It forces people to interact the Oogieloves. I read reviews and heard about empty theaters. I definitely don't want to see this movie.

Not the worst movie EVER, but the worst movie I remember seeing in memory is 2012.

A bland, boring, special effects demo reel with a nonsense plot, unlikeable characters that mostly die a couple scenes after introduction, and a completely "nothing" ending.

well, hell, i'm not that much of a movie watcher, so i don't know. the first example that came to mind for me was the first insidious. i remember watching this film and feeling like it was the most predictable horror film i'd ever seen.

the sequel to independence day was pretty garbage as well. both of these films have something in common in that my film buff friend thought both of them were really good, but i had to disagree with my buddy on this one.

I somewhat enjoyed the first Insidious even though it was a bit predictable and the second half of it was very cheesy, but the third Insidious was one of the worst higher budget horror movies I've ever seen. It was a bit more original than the first but it had that problem where it was really boring and not at all scary.

I think Over the Hedge might be one of my least favorite children's movies that I can think of right now. I just found my over the hedge capsule toy I got from pizza hutt in 2006 in my dresser drawer which reminded me of how bad the movie was.

And I just watched the Phantom of the Opera 2004 movie. I was expecting something great because of how renown the live musical is but it was really bad. It's a shame because I loved the show when I saw it in New York City and it has the potential to make an awesome movie but the 2004 movie was so unfaithful and painfully boring. I wouldn't say it's the worst movie of all time but it's one of the most disappointing to me because it could have been great but it made all the wrong decisions.

I won't call it the worst; I've got no movies that I'd say the "worst" in my personal list, but...

Divergent. Not because it's a follow-the-leader YA novel (or the crappily OP MC being named "Beatrice"), but the character development/characterization of the whole thing was so edgy and...just pretty much cliche. And the pacing was a bit too quick? Related to the previous point, there's so much things going on at the same time that I'm left confused on what the fresh hell just happened.

Actually, I was forced to watch this in school. This movie felt very cliche and some of the decisions made by the characters were dumb. In retrospect, I think that the movie is very mediocre, just like when I watched Ferdinand on VOD.

The Flintstones Movie (the 1994 one) is not the worst movie ever, but it was rather bad. Some of the references probably sailed well over my preschool head, too.

Oggy and the Cockroaches the Movie (2013), where do i begin with this mess, Okay the Show was fine But it seemed like a Tom and Jerry Rip-off, But this Movie Does not Need to Exist, The story, It's Just Awful The story has Continuity Abuse and The adventure is Just Boring Then after a Few Minuets It Cuts to a Star Wars Movie that Reminds me of the Terrible Phineas and Ferb Star wars , The Animation, OMG the 2d animation is Just Ugly Terrifying and Bad at the SAME TIME!, The Star wars animation is a little Better but it's not Saying Much it still looks Very Cheap The 3D animation reminds me of Maya the Bee (2014) and That had Good animation, The Characters, They're Just Hatable, The End

The next one they made, the one where they go to Vegas, that one is so completely godawful that it makes the original '94 Flitstones look like a masterpiece. I completely forgot about it too until your post, so I am blaming you for my trauma. Shame on you, VinnyVideo.

it's a really obscure film that i chanced upon, but i'd say another of the worst movies i can think of is the grand theft. it's been a long time since i saw it, but the gist of it is that there's this guy who wants to make this movie about a bank robbery, so he and his crew try to steal something from a jewelry store. the problem with it is that it has abysmal pacing. half of the movie takes place in the same room and has the characters just talking to each other about what feels like random topics, which gives me vibes like i'm sitting in on a dysfunctional family's depressing reunion. then, once they make up their mind what they're going to do, they go to this small jewelry store and try to steal a... i think necklace or something. once again, the pace is stupidly slow, so basically the only thing that happens is that they try it and then get busted.

my memory of the film is faulty because i saw it such a long time ago, but it was pathetic. the cover had this hot girl in leopard print lingerie on it, but there wasn't even anything like that in the film to redeem it. it's a really low budget indie production, but even so, it was still a huge waste of time.

Regretfully, Batman & Robin is one of them. Worse, I watched that movie twice in theaters as a child. But that was years before I learned about its scathing reviews and actually remembered some scenes from it. And no, it's not THAT scene.

Catwoman with Halle Barry is another, and speaking of school lest I forget: I once watched Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor in History class.

I agree that The Last Jedi was awful, but I think The Force Awakens was pretty bad as well. Rey probably has a lot to do with that as she was the protagonist yet she was the most boring character to watch. I don't know why the director (or directors, as I think Last Jedi had a different one) decided that she should never make a poor decision. Finn was an OK character in the first one but in the second he and his girlfriend were absolutely unnecessary. Their cheesy casino/child labor subplot did not affect the overall story at all and might as well have been cut out. Hopefully the third movie in the new trilogy will be better at capturing the feel of the classic trilogy, but I doubt it considering it won't have the best foundation to work on.

And the prequels are some of the worst famous movies I've seen, especially episode II and every scene with Anakin and Padme.
