REJECTED Add More Games to Main Site

I was about to submit a file to the main site, and as I was looking through the games to add to the Associated Games category, I couldn't find the SMB Special game to add to the list. I wanted to do this since I added a power-up to the sheet from SMB Special, yet the game wasn't in category for the Associated Games. It's possible I can just choose "OTHER" for this scenario, but why not include the other SMB games to the series? We already have ones like Mario Excitebike and Game & Watch Gallery, so why not include the other games from Mario NES like Lost Levels and SMB Special?

Feel free to list any games you think should be added to Associated Games as well.

While I'd agree it'd be nice, the mainsite suffers heavily right now from incorrect tagging as it is, likely due to submitter confusion. Q-Nova and Littlelum can probably tell you more about that, as they've reported a large number of them for fixing.

Once the existing tag mess is sorted out, then we could look at adding more games to it, maybe

Also here's the thing, we can't really include every single game otherwise the list would be way too bloated and it would be harder to find the game you're looking for. Super Mario Bros. Special is a pretty obscure game by Mario standards so I feel like it's one that can be left out.
I'd say the same for Mario Excitebike etc too but uhh I guess it's a bit too late for that lol

satellaview exclusive games like the excitebike mario game and undake 30 same game should have their own category imo, unless they're a "sequel" like BS Super Mario USA, which could fall under the SMB2 all stars category

We don't want the list of games to get too long, since having hundreds of games on the list would get cumbersome.

However, if there are any games that have a decent number of related submissions on MFGG but aren't on the Associated Games list, feel free to let us know. It's easy for me to add new games to the list, but we probably won't add a game unless you can find at least a handful of submissions that would use the category.
