I was mostly joking up there.

However if I MUST be constructive, this game's graphics do greatly clash with each other in many areas, and with items like the Mushroom from different games. The main protagonist moves rather strangely in comparison to the enemies in the game, and the weird "tall shy guy" looks extremely bizarre and mediocre.

uh yea actually u kinda /must/ be constructive or else dont post in a wip project threads. this is kinda universal etiquette for the most part in devvment communitys in general. not sure if u knew

i have a little constructive criticism for you.
for one thing, i assume the rachel sprites are trying to fit into SMW2 YI style? i can see where you're going, but i can't see how you're getting there.
also, the tall shy guys? they just look wrong. no offense to you, because it seems that you were the one that edited them (and did an okay job, i might add), but they do.
a few things impressed me though.
the idea of a yoshi chick with hair? never in a million years would i have thought of that.
and the health meter...let's just call it extremely imaginative.

I really think you should stop being so defensive; if you want to make a game about a sexual fetish then more power to you, but you have to accept that MFGG doesn't have much of an audience for anything out of the ordinary. You're going to get backlash. Frankly vore stuff makes me slightly uncomfortable, and I'm sure a lot of others here feel the same way but to harsh extremes, so you have to either embrace the art of causing controversy (and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that) or find a more niche site to share your game on

My recommendation would be to power through the complaints from armchair slippery-slope theorists who think one game they don't like is going to destroy an entire community

I mean seriously, comparing MFGG to deviantart? dA has always been weird, it has "deviant" in the name for chrissake. One time when I was a kid my grandma saw me on deviantart and said "should you be looking at a site with deviant art??" That site was always destined to become a dumping ground for weird fetish art and whoever administrates it made no attempt to prevent it from happening. MFGG is just a site for Mario fangames; there's no reason to believe a few off-color games are going to scare away other developers, especially since at least half of MFGG's young, would-be-burgeoning fangame creators have probably moved on to Mario Maker. The ones who are left will take whatever sharing platform they can get.

hmm. after giving this game's demo a go, the only real complaint i have is that the controls aren't explained very well. if there's a run key that lets me clear the first gap, i don't know what it is.

vore isn't my thing, but our heroine definitely gets the fireball3k stamp of pretty lady approval, if nothing else.

This is exactly what he's talking about. You've been subjected to a very unfair amount of backlash, but at least the mods have generally taken your side of this 2-year long debate. Yet you consistently react harshly towards all negative feedback. Your argument defeats itself, because while you're saying you've stopped being defensive, you are still being overly-defensive and rude to him.

I love that ye olde fan game feel to this. Reminds me of the (g)olden days of fan-gaming!
My only real criticism is the tummy grumbling, haha. I mean I appreciate the game but that grumbling may be a little... unsettling! It made me feel that way at least.
Not sure if the sound had anything to do with the game. Does it effect gameplay?

Well... This is more like a fetish game and In my opinion I personally disagree with the whole game idea of a sexualized "Yoshi girl" with mooore sexualized enemies! Maybe something more "covered" would be more appropriate for this site, right?

Why are piranha plants an issue but not the Yoshi? The entire game is extremely sexual.
It seems to have been decided that the game is censored enough for the forums, but I don't think it should go on the main site as the audience there is quite young and a sexual game has no place among a young audience.

I'm not crazy about the designs in this game, but the sprite is well done. Is that a whip in her hand?
