I think the only one that is not dead or canceled is, if i recall correctly, Super Mario Bros and the Midas Machine.

The one that i really want to see back is New Super MFGG Bros. (With a different name probably.)
Other socials:
Sonic Retro
NCFC
YouTube

List of projects I eventually plan to finish after the indefinite hiatus is over, assuming I don't abruptly cancel them:
[+]Spoiler
Mario's Rather Unusual Trilogy (Mario's slightly unusual Boss Rush (Completed), Mario vs. Some Unusual Foes (In development), Mario's VERY Unusual Final Frontier (In development))
Sonic's Foray into Random/Unusual Zones (spin-off of Unusual Trilogy, in development)
Angry Birds Slingshot Frenzy (In development)
Super Mario Flashback: Really Good Edition (In development)
Super Hilda DX (In only conceptual phase)

Yes, I am aware that I have about 6 or so fangame projects currently in development at the same time. And yes, I am also aware that all of this is very ambitious.
+ List of projects I'm helping out with in some small capacity during my hiatus:
[+]Spoiler
Super Mario Bros Dimensions 2 (as a spriter, only for Mario's sprites)
MFGG Community Fangame Project 3 (as a spriter)
WordGirl ReWired (as a artist)

Start one! It doesn't necessarily need staff approval or anything. Just get some people together and make it.

I would absolutely love to see this! If anyone wants to start a new CFP, you're more than welcome to do so.

My only advice is to keep scalable - make something like a minigame collection where you can start small and increase the scope of the project if a lot of people contribute. (This way, if interest fades, you'll still be able to release a shorter but enjoyable game.)
Course clear! You got a card.

Agreed. This.

It would be cool to see a CFP. The only problem is that scale is an issue with these due to people losing interest. Games are big and take a lot of work.

I think one way to remedy the issue of feature creep is to make the contribution process more bite-sized. A full-fledged Mario fan game with 8 worlds and multiple playable characters built from scratch might be a bit much, but a WarioWare collab or level design contest with pre-built engines might be more manageable.
