The MFGG Fangame Jam is starting now! You have exactly a week to finish your games! Go go go!

Oh, the theme? Right, we never announced it.
Well, it's...

"Too much water"

Too much water what? Does the game need to take place underwater? Can I make a game where Sonic drinks a glass of water? Well, it's all up to you! As long as it fits the theme in some way, it counts. You can even make your game an IGN joke.

Great, that means I have to think of swimming mechanics. (though not neccesarily...)
Fun fact: Way way long ago in 2003 or 2004 I had a water themed fangame idea I wanted to try to make, but gave up when I couldnt figure out swimming mechanics. So maybe it's time to get creative...

Are there any water-themed Vinesauce memes? I mean, I could just make Supra Binyot Lande 7.8: Oops, All Water Levels, but that sounds a bit banal.

Well this is fun.

My unity project doesn't detect text objects as valid for whatever reason, so then I find a solution that involves pressing ctrl+shift+b online, and then.....

I am seriously concerned. I spent so much time on my project up to this point and now I probably won't be able to submit it to the jam in time.

So I'm learning a few things with all this.
-My work ethic is pretty poor and easily distracted, and it's tough for me to get in the "zone" for too long.
-The in-game engine that Games Factory uses (as I pretty much already know) can only get me so far, and I have to program some janky workarounds for things, specifically, standing on and moving with, a ship with rising and falling movement.
I keep having to trim my idea more and more.

It might now be just a level and a boss fight, or either or.

Some people on Discord asked for an extension, and after holding a public vote there I decided to give everyone extra 24 hours.
You can still submit your game a day early if you so please, it will show up on your jam page if you do so.

Congrats to the winners! Since this is a game jam, these rankings are here just for the bragging rights. Don't expect any prizes or anything. Also, the 2nd and 3rd place only has 0.001 point difference, so that's how close the games were!
