I seem to've been missed as both Flygon and Kevin Rudd. The weirder bit is the email about Kevin Rudd ended up in my spam inbox.
I bloody well miss Char, though. It seems I'm not alone, either.

There's a lot of names I haven't seen for almost a decade here. Wild.
I still use my MFGG character - now a general character for myself - for various things. The legacy never left!

It's all good. Life got super hectic around 2012, so I get it. I haven't really made any games in a tangible form since then and it's really not my thing anymore. Apart from like two games I'd really like to make, I'm pretty much done making them.

There are definitely people who I don't miss and were why I left this site 13 years ago. But thankfully none of them seem to be here haha. Not gonna name names though. Hopefully they've since then wised up and turn out for the better, 13 years is a long time after all.

You're the second person that's mentioned this to me. I hate to ask, but what is the source of this, anyway? Myself, and a few others are curious to know.
I don't disbelieve you, I'm just... not completely sure what's going on.

My last contact with them was sometime around 2010, or 2011. I was a bit too naive at the time, and they contacted me through MSN asking if I would miss him if he disappeared.
I don't think I've ever actually told anyone this, but, well, I was young and a fool. I said to him that I'm not sure if I would or not. And then he disappeared.

So I've spent about 8 or 9 years now thinking he committed suicide.

So, if you can get me a solid source on that claim, it would frankly be a gigantic relief.

@Neo Hyper Yoshi Welcome back! I'm glad you're still a Neo Hyper Yoshi! Maybe I'll finally get a Switch someday.

@Parakarry Yeah, a lot of people use Discord these days. As @Medaforcer mentioned, it doesn't have the same spam problem that Skype had. Mostly I use it for one-one-one chatting and small groups - big Discord group chats aren't my cup of tea.

@Ashurasonic Nice to see you around, too! I remember you did lots of cool artsy things back in the day.

@Flygon Welcome back! I remember when you were Kevin Rudd - at first I thought that was your real name, but then I realized that it was inspired by the Australian prime minister! (I never thought your real name was Flygon, though!)

I've heard a few people claim that Char was a different person from what he was believed to be, although no one has ever produced any evidence of these farfetched claims. Either way, if you want to become a staff member and contribute lots of good work to MFGG, it doesn't matter how old you are or where you're from! I hope Char is doing well - chances are, he got busy with his studies and couldn't continue being active. I have worried about him because of the way he disappeared rather suddenly, though.

Some individuals I wouldn't mind seeing back, others, I'm not above being civil to them, and then there are some who should straight up just stay out, honestly.

Damn I must have been hyper oblivious cause I knew some people were frustrating to deal with at times but no idea stuff got that bad.

Basically, certain European members of the forum (you know who they are) went out of their way to shitpost and (in my case especially) make a lot of super racist commentary and art, some of which they went on to spread to other outlets online. They're overtly toxic.
