@Pedigree - From my experiences, most people know more about the games they played than who made them, since most people are "casual gamers." They usually recall "playing Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, etc. on the Wii (or whatever console they played it on)." Also, if you search up Mario or Nintendo on Google, you're not going to see MFGG come up so quickly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but "Mario fan games" will probably get more hits than "Nintendo fan games." As for your topic regarding Nintendo going after fan-works, I took the liberty to read it before I wrote my opinion. And you say a lot of "maybe"s and "probably"s. Yes. I agree. Perhaps now we are safe. But maybe becoming a Nintendo Fan Games Galaxy site will be too much. As you wrote:
